Our Equestrian Center
We live in the center of horse breeding in Germany, only twenty minutes away from Paul Schockemöhle, the Oldenburger auction center in Vechta, not far away from the most famous stud farms in Germany. We take the fresh semen for our broodmares from the most successful stallions from the stud farms of Schockemöhle, Böckmann, Klatte, Kathmann, Sosath, etc.
We have 15 big loose boxes with windows at our indoor riding area for our riding horses. It’s also possible for the horses to relax in a large paddock or to graze on the ample fields.
Because of the well- lit mare stable with 11 loose boxes beside the house, it is possible to look after the mares in foal very often during day and night.
Furthermore, there are 20 loose boxes for youngsters, but during the summer, they are on large pastures in the neighborhood and we feed them every day.
Our mares in foal and served mares also stay on the large pastures during the summer. They live in small groups behind the house. Altogether there are 30 ha pasture available for the horses.
The indoor riding area is 20 x 40 m. Besides, there is a dressage area and a jumping area with a modern jumping course outside. Because of this it is possible to train the young horses for competitions.
Around the equestrian center, there are a lot of bridle paths to go for a ride after the training.
